Dealing in options is much like other financial instruments. Betting an option is not a purchase or a sale of an option. Option betting is the declaration of a strike price to buy or sell.

A trader can easily find options spread betting with City Index. This is one of the oldest spread betting firms in the UK in betting. Just last December, City Index launched a new trading platform.
This platform is called Streambase and is a complex software program. It takes in current market prices and develops a set of prices. The software develops six or seven options prices for one stock.
IG Index is another spread betting firm which offers options. Daily options quoted are the FTSE, Gold, and US Light Crude Oil. Daily options spreads and long term spreads are available for trading.
IG Index offers tight spreads and options within 2 to 3 points. IG says spreads may be higher when the underlying price is closed. IG Index is very competitive in trades and quotes on the market.
Finspreads is another online spread betting firm for spread bettors. It offers thousands of financial instruments for spread betting. They are a technology company who has been in business since 1999.
Spread betting the options instruments are not offered by all firms. Some of the largest firms in the UK do not offer options markets. The options market is not one of the most widely traded instruments.
It is not traded perhaps as traders believe it to be too complex. In reality, spread betting on options is not very difficult. Slowly more firms are opening up betting on the options markets.
